Ok so it's been a while but here is what I have been up to for the last three days.
DAY 12, SUNDAY.
Five Other girls and myself went to our
Portuguese-speaking ward for the first time. It was a really good experience and I am so
glad that I was assigned to that ward. I could barely understand anything, but would pick up a few things that were similar to Spanish. The people were friendly, nice, and so
humble and it was great to see their dedication. Later that night we had a fireside on the Blitz of WWII.
DAY 13, MONDAY.
We had class like usual :/ and then went straight to the
Tower of London as a class. I had already been but it was still good (although I wish we had had a
beefeater giving us the tour). But it was a funny day and combine that with lack of sleep and you get me
giggling all day long.

DAY 14. TUESDAY.
Today we took a group trip to the the London Temple, which is actually out of the city in the countryside, and it is gorgeous. We rode a train and then got from the station to the temple by taxis. The temple grounds are the prettiest ones I have ever seen- large greens, flowers, a little river complete with a bridge, and lots of trees. I am so glad we were able to get out of the city for a day and enjoy the peace that comes with attending the temple, especially pondering while inside. After we got back we saw the show "War Horse", a play that we are studying in class. It was amazing, and I loved it. It was a story about a teenager and his horse during the time of WWII. The horses were created by puppet-work in the form of a real size horse with actors making all the sounds (breathing, naying) needed to make it seem real. I always get so emotionally involved in anything that has to do with animals. I probably cried like three times, but at least it had a happy ending.
