Book Review || How to Live Like a Lady

Sarah Tomczak // How to Live Like a Lady:

on the plane ride back to utah after christmas i started & finished this little handbook. the author has written for many magazines and over the years has taken note of how one can be a classy modern lady through her observations. i found this book very instructive and motivating. it will help you out of sticky situations, and informs you on everything from posture, to charm, great hosting, style, making an entrance, and to of course, men. there is nothing she does not cover. i would recommend it to any of you out there who want to act more like a lady in world where class, manners, and poise are not prevalent. {i bought the book at anthropologie, but you can order from amazon here too, or if you live nearby just ask to borrow it from me!} because really, who doesn't want to be more like these lovely ladies?

Grace Kelly

Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis

and of course:
Audrey Hepburn, the epitome of what a lady should be, who remained a beautiful woman inside and out until the day she died.

There's another book called "How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton world" that I seem to remember enjoying...
